European Research & Innovation Days 2026 is the European Commission’s flagship event for research and innovation. The event brings together policymakers, researchers, innovators, businesses and civil society to discuss how research and innovation can strengthen Europe’s competitiveness, resilience and technological development.

The programme will focus on topics including research funding, scientific freedom, talent, technological leadership, innovation, research infrastructure and international cooperation.

Participants can join policy discussions, interactive sessions, networking opportunities and exchanges with EU Science Counsellors from around the world.
