ERRIN’s Circular Economy event: opportunities and challenges for members

The event is organised by ERRIN's Bioeconomy WG with the support of the ERRIN's Clusters Natural Resources and Adaptation, Low Carbon, Health, ICT, Culture & Creativity, with the aim of addressing circularity in its holistic approach.

The event will deep dive in the world of circular economy, sharing insights on the latest political developments, and looking ahead towards the new European Commission's ‘Circular Economy Act’, set to be adopted in 2026. The meeting will be an opportunity for members to share their inputs for ERRIN's contribution to the Circular Economy Act public consultation, open until 6 November. Additionally, a call for inputs will be shared with members in September.

The event will offer a mutual learning opportunity for the wider membership to learn from Circular Cities and Region Initiative (CCRI) Pilot and Fellow Regions, who have received support to implement circular systemic solutions in their territories, and Regional Innovation Valleys focused on boosting circular solutions.
